TE products and parts, including kit components are warranted to the original purchaser to be free of manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the original shipping date. Any part that fails to conform to these conditions will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of TE upon receipt of the defective part within the six (6) month warranty period. All warranties will be void under any of the following conditions:
- Product was improperly installed or used in an application other than specified during purchase.
- Product has been damaged, modified, or altered in any way.
During the warranty period, if you believe the product to have a manufacturing defect, please contact us for a Return Authorization Number. Please use appropriate packaging materials to adequately protect the product during shipping. Upon receipt of the returned product, TE will inspect it and repair any manufacturing defects, replace the unit at no charge, or provide a refund less shipping costs.
If TE determines that there are no manufacturing defects or that conditions are met for voiding the warranty (damage to the product, improper installation, or product modification), we will reset the product to factory settings and return it for the cost of shipping.
If you are not completely satisfied with the performance of the product and would like to return it within thirty (30) days of delivery, you may choose to return it for a refund, less a 40% restocking fee plus costs for repairing any damage to the product (excluding normal wear and tear from installation and handling). Please contact us for a Return Authorization Number.
Unused products that have not been installed may be returned by the original purchaser within ten (10) days of delivery for a full refund less a 10% restocking fee.

TE products purchased through dealers must adhere to the dealer’s returns and warranty policies. Please have your dealer contact us directly with any warranty concerns.
Metering Rod Exchange Policy:
TE has an exchange policy in effect for metering rods. Any SmartCarb metering rod returned to TE by the original purchaser free of damage will be refunded in full. Please contact us if you believe your application requires a different metering rod.
